Cecilia Elena Rouse, the Chair of Council of Economic Advisers, part of the Executive Office of the President in the Biden-Harris Administration recently released the 2022 Economic Report of the President. The research from our Data Science Lab (multiple papers) on Time-to-Recover and Time-to-Survive has appeared in this report.

This report overviews the nation's economic progress using text and extensive data appendices. The Economic Report of the President is transmitted to Congress no later than ten days after the submission of the Budget of the United States Government.

It is not often that the work in Operations Management is used to inform public policy at the white house level; this is a nice recognition and also shows the impact of our research at the Data Science Lab.
